StkRepo – DMCA Copyright Policy

StkRepo (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.

GPL Compliance Note

Some of the items hosted on StkRepo are licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). We respect all intellectual property rights and will process takedown requests for any content that violates proprietary licenses or non-GPL components (such as images, CSS, or specific proprietary code elements included in a split-license product).

1. Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, authorized to act on behalf of one, or authorized to act under any exclusive right under copyright, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Site by completing a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering it to our Designated Copyright Agent.

To be effective, the notification must include the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., a link to your original work).

  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., the specific URL on stkrepo.com).

  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address at which you may be contacted.

  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

2. Where to Send the Notice

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a written counter-notification. To be effective, the counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.

  • Identification of the material that has been removed and the location where it appeared before removal.

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

StkRepo takes copyright infringement seriously. In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users/vendors who are deemed to be repeat infringers.
